By taking care of yourself, you not only contribute to your own health but also help make the planet a little more beautiful. Our breads are plant-based and made with whole wheat flour. The production of whole wheat flour uses the entire wheat grain, eliminating the need for additional processes, which reduces energy consumption and CO2 emissions. Additionally, whole grains offer many health benefits.

Patroba Family Bakers also takes its responsibility to make the planet a better place. Sustainability is a high priority for us.

The plastic bags in which our bread is packaged help to keep the bread fresh for a longer period, reducing waste compared to standard bread. Additionally, our plastic bags can be placed in the recycling bin (the “blue bag” in some regions) so they can be recycled.

Our

efforts

Not only do we strive to improve our packaging and ensure freshness, we also make various new choices to make our production site more energy-efficient and sustainable. That’s why we’ve installed 1,250 solar panels on our new production site. Additionally, the adiabatic climate control is entirely supplied by outdoor air. Among other things, we use the latest generation ovens and solar energy for this purpose.

By consuming fresh pre-packaged bread, you not only enjoy the benefits of whole grains and plant-based food but also contribute to reducing waste, proper recycling, and indirectly make use of our energy-efficient methods. We are not perfect, but as a producer, we want to do our part.
